Fultrot is an online magazine that’s uploaded from the island of Curaçao for motorsports enthusiasts around the world. The main topics are: racing, technology and safety. Of course, there is a healthy dose of funny pieces as well. The word “fultrot” is papiamentu for wide open throttle. Papiamentu is spoken on the islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao.
In August 2014, we celebrated our third year. The image below illustrates our accomplishments up to now. In the future we plan to focus both on increasing the structure of topics and the depth of reporting, while starting to explore the creation of some stream of advertising revenue.

One favourite topic is the introduction of news bits to our readers, be it in technology, safety or just rookies setting a track ablaze.

Regarding our lack of on the ground reporting, since we are a non-profit foundation with very limited financial resources, we can only offer just a couple of on the ground reporting at events or races.
In 2015 we were able to visit the media center of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and experienced first hand the intensity and excitement of those reporting and photographing this unique endurance race. This experience led to us attending the WEC Shanghai race in 2016 as a photographer. As we document our experiences as amateur writers and photographer, we plan to publish a book in the not so distant future about the unsung heroes of racing, the reporters and photographers. Course workers are also on the list.
For 2018 we plan to be at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, France, as a writer and at the 6 Hours of Fuji, Japan, as a photographer. Should you be interested in our services, feel free to contact us.
