The first test day of 2019 Hillclimb Curacao took place at the Mijnmaatschappij Curacao on February 23, 2019. A fun racing morning turned even better when Mr. Richard de Gouberville showed up. Richard was a master tuner back in the day and frequently competed in the Hillclimbs organized by the ACC. Needless to say, together with previous hillclimb drivers Eric-Jan Venekatte and Ranfor Nijdam, they entertained the marshals with their stories which all started with:”.. back in the day..”
Since only a handful of drivers registered for the first test day, we grabbed the opportunity to shoot some video, which you will find below.
