The half-day High Performance Driving Course is specifically tailored to empower candidates ranging from teenagers, go kart racers, hillclimb competitors, street car enthusiasts, and celebrities, to become an even better driver. The classroom course will cover a wide spectrum of topics: from basic driving posture to advanced car control and vehicle dynamics. The course lecturer is Mr. Wendell Prince, who’s arguably one of the most successful and accomplished competitors in the golden era of karting.

The Automotive Art Exhibition is a forum in which local craftsman and women get an opportunity to present their artwork, whatever that may be considered automotive art, to the general public. To some, a locally fabricated engine exhaust header is just that, a header. To others, if it has all the attributed and qualifies, it can be considered a work of art. We are among the latter and therefore offer local artisans a chance to show of their local automotive creations, be it in the form of a photograph, painting or paint brush art, and wood or metal art. The exhibition will take place at the Blockchain Labs at 16 East. Additional information may be found in this 2018 article about the AAE.

The Vintage Karting outings are a way to preserve our karting heritage (’70-’90). Through demonstration events and exhibitions, the foundation plans to keep our youth, and some older folks, engaged with the once much loved little bullets. First with a kart suited for kids and hopefully soon (seeking donations) we can add an adult kart to the mix. Of course, others are welcome as long as they obey the safety rules. Since we do not yet have a suitable track we will limit our track time to easily accessible parking lots. Finally, Vintage Karting Curacao is not a commercial program, and as such, is free to the public.

Hillclimb Curacao is a world class family oriented exclusive event that’s held on the property of the Mijnmaatschappij at Nieuwpoort, adjacent to the Santa Barbara Resort. The once a year Hillclimb sees motorsports enthusiasts and a handful of semi-professional drivers attack the 650 meter long hill, which forms part of the iconic Tafelberg.

Harley Davidson Braggin’ Rights is a semi-competitive drag race initially set up only for Harley Davidson bikes. This year’s event will mark its fifth edition, and such, we will open an additional class for motorcycles similar to the Harley Davidson’s; this upon popular request. More information about this fun race may be found in this article on the 2018 HDBR.
